Depending on the type of ticket you have ordered, there are different delivery methods.
E-tickets: An e-ticket is a digital ticket delivered as a PDF file to your email address. You can display your digital ticket directly from your mobile phone.
If you prefer a printed copy, you can print the PDF file yourself using a standard printer.
Your e-ticket is usually sent out immediately after the purchase is completed. If the ticket is sent later, it will be delivered at least 24 hours before your first departure.
Paper Tickets: Most tickets in Europe are now available as e-tickets, but there are exceptions. Certain countries, such as Belgium, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria, still use paper tickets.
Some night trains also use paper tickets. This means we must print these tickets on secure paper and send them to you via registered mail (REK). A shipping cost will be added, and you will not be able to print the tickets yourself.
If the trains you wish to travel with use paper tickets, we unfortunately cannot send them as e-tickets. Printing is the only distribution method available. To ensure you receive your tickets in time, they must be booked at least two weeks before departure.
