A Child Pass is activated in the same way as all other pass types and can be used on a separate mobile phone. For a Child Pass to be activated on the same mobile phone as an Adult Pass, both must have the same country of residence.
The Child Pass, like all other passes, must have a trip in "My Trip." If a seat reservation is required, the child must reserve a seat if they are over 4 years old. If you are unsure whether your child needs a pass, you can read more under "Does my child need an Interrail Pass?"
