I purchased cancellation protection. How does it work?

Cancellation protection is an optional add-on that provides extra security when booking travel. It works as insurance that entitles you to a full refund if a trip needs to be canceled due to emergency events such as illness or death of yourself or a close relative. Close relatives in this case are parents, grandparents, children, siblings, and partners.

If someone in the travel party becomes ill/passes away, the fellow travelers' tickets can be refunded in full if they choose not to travel. The cancellation protection covers your entire booking under the same order number.

To use the cancellation protection, the trip must be canceled no later than the day before departure, you also need to be able to show a valid doctor's certificate.

The cancellation protection fee is non-refundable.
